Join the Milky Way restaurant on Tuesday, April 29th, at 5:30 PM for a powerful hour of conversation over drinks and delicious food!
Once nearly extinguished outside the Chassidic world, a movement of young Jews seeking to preserve and connect with this piece of their history is reclaiming Yiddish. At the forefront of this effort in Los Angeles is Rabbi Zach Golden, co-founder of Der Nister Downtown Jewish Center. Together with the Neshama congregation, the Milky Way welcomes Rabbi Golden to their first-ever Food for Thought Event: Yiddish Can Heal Us. Pull up a comfy seat, grab a glass of wine or a mocktail, snack on appetizers from their kosher kitchen, and join the conversation moderated by Rabbi Yonah Bookstein.
Tickets are $35 per person (+ tax & gratuity) and include appetizers and a drink of choice. Reservations can be made in advance via Resy by clicking the link below.
